If you're exploring London's vibrant Kensington (or neighbouring Notting Hill) neighbourhood and looking for a place to eat, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is a great spot to check out. Located right on Kensington High Street, this elegant yet relaxed restaurant offers a mix of British and European dishes that cater to all tastes. With its stylish decor, friendly service, and a menu full of comforting classics and seasonal specialties, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is the perfect place for a leisurely brunch, a cozy dinner, or a quick bite between sightseeing stops.
If you're visiting for dinner, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie has a relaxed and welcoming vibe with soft lighting and chic decor that make it feel both cozy and stylish. There’s a nice buzz of conversation as people chat over their meals, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
The menu consists of an eclectic mix of a bit of everything, British classics and European dishes. I chose the Whiskey Barrel Wood Smoked Salmon for a starter. I loved how this was served.
For my main I had the Steak Tartare and my sister had The Ivy Burger, both were delicious.
We really liked The Ivy Kensington Brasserie. It's one of those places that can suit any occasion, when we visited there were families with kids, groups of friends and couples dining. The Ivy Collection runs several different restaurants around London and the UK, I would love to try some of the other ones as well.
